It’s Worth It

If you’ve been helping others, serving the Lord, working hard accomplishing, doing God’s will and work in your life and in your Church, and being busy about the Father’s Kingdom business (e.g. the Great Commission, Evangelism – reaching the lost (unsaved) and the lonely (those who are unchurched) and restoring those who lost their way (the backslidden, helping and healing the brokenhearted, etc.)– God will not forget! He will reward you. So, don’t be discouraged.

If you wonder if it’s worth it — it is. If you wonder if you can continue — you can. If you’re tired and down — look up. If you need a break and real rest — take one and do it in the Lord (Matthew 11:28-30). If you wonder if God even cares — He does – watchfully and carefully (1 Peter 5:7 AMPC).

>> If you want to quit — don’t! You are so valuable in God’s big master plan here on earth!

For those who serve in “thankless” jobs, the Lord will not forget your work, labor of love and the love you have shown to Him and others!

For those who serve in the Ministry or on the mission field, the Lord will not forget your sacrifice and tireless service!

For those who serve in behind-the-scenes “helps” roles, the Lord will not forget your hard work, prayer faith, fixed focus, sacrifices, faithful and tireless service, early mornings and late nights!

For those who serve in the trenches of this world’s hardest, darkest and most difficult places, the Lord will not forget the way you are helping Him heal broken hearts and set the captives free!

For those who serve the Lord night and day in spite of opposition, pain, personal problems persecution and criticism, the Lord will not forget the way you have represented Him!

We see in Hebrews 6:11-15 (NIV) what God promises:

“We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, in order to make your hope sure. We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised. When God made His promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for Him to swear by, He swore by Himself, saying, ‘I will surely bless you and give you many descendants.’ And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised.”

Review those words from the Lord again: I will surely bless you!…after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised. Be encouraged, this is true for you too!

So hang in there…everything you do for the Lord is more than worth it! We must remember that it is a true honor and awesome privilege to be used by God to minister and serve one person by the grace and help of the Lord. Continue to look to Jesus, exercise and raise the bar of your faith and patience and you will inherit the promises of God. We may not ever see the full impact of our life here on earth, but eternity is sure to tell a grand story of your kingdom efforts! And God will surely bless your faithfulness and your fruitfulness — both in this lifetime and eternity!

Say This and Pray This Out Loud: “Father, by faith I choose to believe Your Word and do Your Will. I know You won’t forget my work and the love I have shown You by helping others. I believe it’s all been worth it. You keep good records. I declare Your Word over my life today: ‘You will surely bless me. I will wait patiently and I will receive the things You have promised me.’ In Jesus’ Name. I thank You Lord for equipping me, empowering me and energizing me to continue to do Your Will and accomplish Your work in and through my life in serving and ministering to others by the faith, love and life you’ve deposited inside of me. Thank You Dear Father for Your great Help, Strength and Grace working in my life. It is truly worth it Father and I thank and praise You! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.”
