Say It Like You Mean It!

Friends, when you’re really serious about something, don’t you say it like you mean it? Anyone who hears you knows, you mean business! You mean what you’re saying — and others can take that to the bank.
Maybe that’s why I love this particular verse so much! I mean, for God to say “I will not – I will not – I will not” is for sure saying it like He means it, am I right? And what’s the promise right after that — He will not leave us nor let us down. WHOA. He means that — and we can take that to the bank!

Today we’re going to insert our own names into this verse and say it out loud as a prayer and confession based on His Word — doing so helps us accept this Truth into our own personal lives! We internalize this truth and impact our spirit and soul (mind, will and emotions) as we release it through our own lips from our agreeing and believing hearts. Word are powerful and we should take them seriously. There are no inconsequential words (Read Matthew 12:33 – 37) Jesus our Lord teaches us some important truths in these verses of Scripture in the gospel of Matthew that our words matter my friends! Words we spoke yesterday make and create what life is today. Words are containers – they hold things. Life and death are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). If you’re not happy with what you have in life, then check out what you’ve been saying. So, say it like you mean it! And don’t say what you don’t mean to say. Put God’s power-filled Word in your heart and boldly speak it out of your mouth!
Pray This and Say This Out Loud: “Father, thank You that You will not in any way fail me nor give up nor leave me without support. You will not, You will not, You will not in any degree leave me helpless nor forsake nor let me down nor relax Your hold on me — assuredly not! I receive it and I decree it! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.”
