Confessions for Your Child

  • My child has an excellent spirit, like Daniel in the Bible (Daniel 5:12, 6:3).
  • My child is taught of the Lord, and great is their peace (Isaiah 54:13).
  • My child is established in righteousness. They are far from oppression, and shall not fear, and far from terror, for it will not come near them (Isaiah 54:14).
  • No weapon formed against my child shall prosper. Every tongue that rises against my child in judgment will be shown to be in the wrong. Peace, righteousness, security, and triumph over opposition are included in my child’s heritage (Isaiah 54:17 AMP).
  • My child is obedient to those in authority. Because my child honors and respects those in authority over them, it will be well with my child and he will live long on the earth (Eph 6:1-3).
  • Because my child is willing and obedient, they will eat the good of the land (Isaiah 1:19).
  • God has great plans for my child –plans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give my child hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV).
  • When Jesus appears, my child will be like Him (1 John 3:2). My child is accepted in the Beloved (Ephesians 1:6).
  • My child is strengthened with might through God’s Spirit in their inner man. Christ dwells in my child’s heart by faith, that they, being rooted and grounded in love, will be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height, to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that my child may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19).
  • Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor has it entered into my child heart the things which God has prepared for them because they love Him (1 Corinthians 2:9).
  • My child is God’s prized possession (EX 19:5 Moffett)
  • My child obtains favor from the Lord. They are blessed by the Lord, and God surrounds them with favor as with a shield (Ps 5:12; Proverbs 12:2).
  • God has begun a good work in my child, and He will complete it (Philippians 1:6).
  • My child can do all things through Christ who strengthens them (Philippians 4:13).
  • God has given my child a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him; the eyes of their understanding have been enlightened that they may know what is the hope of His calling; the riches of the glory of God’s inheritance for them; and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward them (Ephesians 1:17-19).
  • It is God who is at work in my child, both to will and to do for His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13).
  • My child is God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that they should walk in them (Ephesians 2:10).
  • God who is rich in mercy, because of His great love for my child, has made them alive together with Christ and raised them up to sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:4-6).
  • My child’s gifts make room for them and bring them before great men (Proverbs 18:16).
  • My child steps are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in their way (Psalm 37:23).
  • My child dwells in the secret place of the Most High and abides under the shadow of the Almighty. God is their refuge and fortress and in Him they trust.
  • God will deliver my child from the snare of the fowler and He will cover them with His feathers. Under His wings my child will take refuge. God’s truth (His Word) is my child’s shield and buckler. My child will not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at my child’s side and ten thousand at their right hand, but it will not come near them.
  • No evil will befall my child nor will any plague come near their dwelling, for God will give His angels charge over my child, to keep them in all of His ways.
  • Because my child has set his love upon the Lord, He will deliver them and set them on high. When my child calls upon the Lord, He will answer. God will be with my child in trouble, and He will deliver and honor them. With long life He will satisfy my child and show them His salvation (Psalm 91).
  • Because the Lord is my child’s Shepherd, they have everything they need. He lets them rest in the meadow grass and leads them beside the quiet streams. God gives my child strength and helps them to do what honors Him the most…The Lord is close beside my child, guarding, guiding all the way.
  • God provides delicious food for my child in the presence of their enemies, and He welcomes my child as His guest. Blessings overflow!
  • God’s goodness and unfailing kindness will be with my child all of their life, and afterwards they will live with the Lord forever in His home (Ps 23 TLB).
  • Because my child is the seed of the righteous, they will be delivered (Prov 11:21).
  • My child will return from the enemy’s land in Jesus’ name (Jer 31:17).
